Ski resorts in the Gastein valley

Explore the varied Ski areas of the Gastein valley. We offer something for everyone from beginner to expert, for simply enjoying a slow ride or racing downhill. Every day provides a new adventure.

Schlossalm - Angertal - Stubnerkogel

Largest connected skiing area (860 – 2.300 m Altitude). Downhill runs with over l,000m difference in altitude promise varied piste fun – perfectly connected with modern lifts and cable cars. Ideal for skiing pleasure! We would recommend the practice area, Gasti Snowpark, in the skiing centre in the Angertal Valley for beginners. The suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel with a length of 140 m holds in store a special kick for both hikers and skiers.

Ski resort: Schlossalm

Skiing in Sportgastein: 1.590 – 2.650 m Altitude. Our special tip: ski route 1 + 2 with different options as far as you can see. After 1,000 m of deep powder snow or mogul slope you will reach Sportgastein on the bottom of the valley. Please pay attention to the warning signs and barriers.

Ski resort: Sportgastein

With its long, advanced slopes the Graukogel is a true challenge for top skiers (1.079 – 2.007 m Altitude). Most of the slopes are in the forest area and therefore sheltered from the wind, so that even with poor sight you will have a good orientation.

Ski resort: Graukogel

Dorfgastein - Grossarltal

The Gastein valley’s first interconnected ski area provides varied and family-friendly offers with diversified pistes for beginners and advanced skiers (850 – 2.033 m Altitude). Highest skiing comfort with state-of-the-art cable cars and lift facilities as well as a unique and very rustic ski hut atmosphere.
